Who is behind Casino Gambling Hot Spot....
In 1993 at the age of only 25, my life took a weird turn. I had just gotten married that year, had a young child and it seemed that I had so much to look forward to. I really hated the 9-5 rut, but that was the schedule that worked best raising young kids. I had always wanted to be able to work from home and watch my kids grow. My wish was granted in the latter part of the year.
I always envied those who were able to be self employed and keep their own hours. Now that is the life! I knew that it would be the perfect thing for me...... but how could it happen to me? It wasn't for another couple years that I stumbled on an online gambling site. After being a member of that site for a few years, a terrific opportunity presented itself and I was offered a small task as a link manager. I continued to manage links for that site for almost 4 years. During that 4 years, I was given other little tasks including writing some content for the site. The hardest part of it was that even though I'd be given more to do, the salary did not increase. In the last couple years of working with that site, I had my mind made up to quit, but every time I wanted to mention it, things were so busy and hectic. I ended up staying there until about August 2006 when I finally quit.
Prior to leaving that site, I was offered another position as a links manager. Now this site was awesome! I really like my boss and was even able to meet him once in Vegas. After about a year of working with him, my workload increased and so did my pay. Now that was totally cool! I've had to turn down other work at times because it wasn't in my expertise, but I'm pretty sure that I'll eventually learn it.
I've also been given the opportunity to work with another couple sites - which I still work with. I enjoy the work that I do. But, as in all jobs, there are certain things that we don't like to do that much. For me, it's writing! Funny thing is that I'm sitting here 'writing'. lol
Remembering back to the first domain that I ever bought...... this was hilarious! I had bought a domain and wanted to put a little site together. I worked on pages and trying to learn how to read html and the functionality of web pages. I finally had an index page together, but I couldn't get it to launch where it was supposed to. It kept boggling my mind until I quit! I put it away and just kept the domain name so that I could keep my email addresses. A few years later, I finally was instructed on how to put the page up as an "index". Boy, did I feel silly!! Since then, I've just enjoyed tweaking on web pages and still do that now.
Today, I'm working on this site and enjoying it as I feel that I've learned quite a bit in the past few years. With a little bit of understanding of how a webpage works, anyone can build a little website.
